I’d like to dedicate this post to @haylee04 who’s blog is Everything Fiction. She is someone who inspires me to write. She is a great writer and has lots of potential. She is not afraid to follow her dreams. She has a lot of courage. I suggest that you guys check her out, she’s a brilliant writer. I hit a writer’s block, but I come up with something to post soon.

The end of the year is approaching! So, do you have plans this summer? If so what are they? I’m planning to work, but I still haven’t found a job. Finding a job is harder than I thought it would be and sometimes I do lose faith in myself. I try not to, but it’s hard when you have applied everywhere, and you are still jobless. It’s my last day of class tomorrow, then I have to study for exams :(. I just wish life would give me a break you know? A break to take it all in, a break to breath, to just be in peace with the world. I know this post is short and not very interesting, but I have lost inspiration. I don’t know what to write about. I’m not a make-up person and I don’t really like shopping… (I’m weird, I know). I promise that my next post will be more entertaining.
Anyway, I would love to know what you have planned for this summer! Let me know by commenting on this post. 🙂

I read the book 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher when I was in 9th grade. I got the book for Christmas. I remember loving the book. I read it fairly quickly.
The book is about a girl called Hannah Baker who commits suicide. We learn her story through a set of tapes she pre-recorded listing 13 who are responsible for the reason she committed suicide. The tapes are given anonymously to the people responsible, if they don’t pass it to the next person on the tape, the set of tapes will be release to the whole school by someone who was given an extra set by Hannah.
I personally loved this book because even if Clay was in the tapes, I don’t think he was one of the reasons why Hannah took her life. He is there because she wanted to explain to him what happened. She wanted him to know because they liked each other.
This book is very well written. I cried at the end of the book. And I will eventually read it again. Jay Asher does a great job telling Hannah’s story and making you feel how she felt; tired, hopeless, alone…
If you haven’t read this book yet, I highly recommend it. If you have read this book, what did you think? Did you enjoy it? Let me know by commenting on this post. 🙂
